March Madness

So this month, I've done so many things but one I the things I did that I really enjoyed was our bike ride. It been preety nice weather later and who know how long it will last. We decided to go out after church on Sunday and it was the day it started to snow and we got like 4 feet during the night. It actually is just about to rain in the picture below. So we all just hopped on our bikes and pretty much all 3 of our bike had flat tires but we didn't care..we went anyways. It was fun. I always love doing thing with my family and can't wait for the weather to get better. ok well here are a few pictures. bye bye for now.....

An Eternal Family

Our Family on the Temple Steps

This weekend we did something very special and we've been meaning to do it for such a long time. We had Alex, our 8 year old son, sealed to us in the Salt Lake City temple. It was so peaceful there. It's a day I will never forget. Kaleigh was there as well. I always love going to the temple and the way it makes me feel. I forget about all the stresses in my life. All of us dressed in white and a family forever.

Steve's Birthday Party

This weekend we celebrated my Step-dad's Birthday. We had it at my Mom's house here in Park City. He just turned 69 and he's doing great. We had so much fun that night. My grandparents were there, Nataleigh and her friend Nikki, Lucy, my mom, and of course my whole fam.

During the party, Kaleigh discovered my camera and started taking so many pictures of everyone. She didn't do too bad. Well, here are some pictures so u can see for yourself. Happy Birthday Steve!!!!!!

Other Fun Things This Month

This month we have done many fun things. We did a douple date thing with Miken and Her "E" and saw some gymnastics at the Huntsmen Center. It was fun and always great to see my friend Miken.....even if it was for like 10 minutes. ahahhaaha lol We had seats way up at the top but thanks to the huge tv we saw some gymnastics. I would go again but I would definately go way early to get good seats.

Next we went to see the Harlem Globe Trotters. It was so amazing. I've actually never paid much attention to them..even though I love basketball. We had a blast and it was so cool. We went with the Foote family. We do things together alot. The great friends to us. After the show, the kids went down to get autographs on their basketballs and Elias got me a pink and white jersey. He's always spoiling me. After all the fun there we went out for food at Tepanyaki. It's was a the best food I've ever had. No Joke. They cook in front of you and even throw shimp in your mouth. I loved it.

Spotlight

Today I wanted to do a spotlight on my sister-in-law, Corina Lake. Since it was just her birthday, I decided to do a spotlight on her. We went to Buffet City to eat with some of her friends and the rest of the fam. This place has been one new favorite place to eat. They have the best sushi. Yum!

So back to Corina. She's very loving, friendly and outgoing. She always makes me laugh and we always have a blast taking pictures together. Like around 100 at a time..no joke. lol She is always dressed in her own style. I love that about her. She loves Hello Kitty...I mean she really really loves it, lip gloss and of coarse shoes...lots and lots of shoes. She's been married for 5 years to Kory Lake. They live in a beautiful house together...I think it's Taylorsville??? Corina works in Human Resources. Corina is a great person and a great friend. Corina has a great personality and she's very honest. If I ask her something like, "how does this look on me?" she won't be afraid to tell me.

Corina is also a very good cook and she's been teaching me a few things. I'm sure my husband is greatful for that. I really enjoy hanging out with her. She came over a few month ago and we all went to see Madagascar 2 and she spent the night. It was a blast.

The Love of My Life!!!!!

Ok well I guess I didn't do as well as I wanted to on posting in my blog but I will. you'll see. So, many things happened this month and I'm going to take Miken's advice and just do a little at a time. I guess I'll start with Valentine's Day. Elias totally spoiled me even when I told him not too. We went out to dinner at the Roof Resturant. It's down town and overlooks the Temple. It was so nice and peaceful. It was great to have some time alone with My hubby Elias. I'm so greatful that I have him in my life. I know he loves me and cares so much about me. After dinner we just sat downstairs in the lobby and talked and hugged. We went home and he read the card I gave him and he gave me a cute heart necklace with earings to match. It was so precious. For me Valentine's Day has always been very special for me.It's like a time out to everything that is going on then we both just focus on each other and on how much love we have for each other. I love my Elias with all my heart and I always will.

Sundance '09 & More

Ok well here I go once again. I guess I've been leaving this until the last minute but hey, at least I'm doing it right? lol I guess I can talk about our fun times during Sundance this year. One weekend my sister-in-law Paulina came up for the weekend and we took a little drive up and down Main St. It was pretty funny. We kept pulling over (for no more than 15 minute because that's all that was allowed) to take pictures of different stores and places on Main St. I think it's funny because all these years I've been living here in Park City and I've never done that.

I mostly took pictures of my sister in law because I was so mad at my roots on my hair that I couldn't have any pictures of myself. That night is when I decided to fix it myself and after several washes and purple shampoo it turned out great. lol! Another fun thing about our night was that I locked her window so she couldn't control it and I kept playing the begininng of one of the Britney spears songs. It was so much fun! I had a blast with her.

Then, since we had so much fun we told Elias that we had to go to Main St. again and take some more pictures. We actually saw a few movie stars which was cool. We saw Liam Neeson and Robin Willams. Yes, we took pictures of them. Elias ran after them carring my pink camera. Nice! It was funny. When he saw Robin William, he ran up to him and pretty much put him in a head lock and started snapping a whole bunch of pictures. Once he came back to the car he realized that he had the zoom on and got half of his face and half of his own face. We kept giving him a hard time about it. Here are some of the pictures he took:

Well I guess this year we have a new president. I'm excited for once. He seems to care about this country so I'm excited to see the changes he makes. This year I have a few goals that I would like to commit to...

#1 is to work out more. Yes, so I want to drop 15lbs...but at the same time I just want to workout for my health. I love the feeling I have from going to the gym and with all the stress these days I really need that extra lift.

#2 is to get out of debt for good. Which means when I get an e-mail that there's a great sale going on, I just have to delete it. I have plenty of material things. Thanks to my dad, who buys me shoes, purses and coats. I think I have over 100 pairs. Thanks Dad! But back to the debt. I want to try really hard and get out of debt. Cancel my credit cards and everything. This is somethings that is constantly stressing me out. My husband as well, I sure.

#3 is to be a better person. I want to be a better friend, a better wife and mother. I will be thinking of different way and things I can do to improve.

#4 is to get ready for another baby. Yep! That's right. Well Elias want 6 total. I don't know how far we will get but I know he's a great father and he really has been grinding on me. I just can't believe kaleigh is going to be 3 years old. I thought I would already have had another baby by now but maybe it wasn't the right time.

#5 is to work even harder. To go the extra mile and stay ahead so I'm not stressed out about how much work I have. I'm just greatful to even have a job. I mean with all the things that are happening you never now. I enjoy my job though. I get to work with people. It's alot of paperwork but it's not that bad. Lucy is there to make me laugh too. We had one of our employees come up and audit our files this month and I really started to like her. Her name is Senaida. Come back...you still have 7 more files to review. lol Then there's my favorite at work gf. yep! Miken. ahahhahahha lol Miken!!!! Where are you??? I decided I really need to make an apt. for the dentist so I can go to lunch with her. lol

Well this blog is gettign kind of long. maybe I should try writing shorter post but more often. Yes, that will be # 6. : )
