New Years 2015

New Years resolutions are all around. Let's start a diet, work out, learn something new or just try to find ways we can be better. As for me, I would like to start by posting more in my blog. So thats what I'm doing now. I wanted to post about something religious so if that's not your thing then you don't have to read this. Although by reading this you may just become more of a believer so you never know. I'm not much of a writer or reader even so if I have typos or grammar errors, get over it!! It was not too long ago that I was feeling really anger and full of rage towards someone. No, I'm not telling you who! That's not the point of this post. I had really bad feelings in my heart and I knew that it wasn't right to be feeling or thinking that way. I wanted revenge and justice for this person and felt I was the one that should take care of that. My feelings got really bad to the point I was in tears and then asked my husband, Elias if he could give me a priesthood blessing. Even though I had some doubt that there was nothing that could help me now I still knew I needed to ask him and believe I could have relief. My mind was so far now. I was so off track and thinking such horrible things but as he began, I slowly felt my anger calming and more and more peace inside me. I sat very still and listened very carefully to what was being said. I felt better with every word that was said.  By the time he was finished, I felt so peaceful. My thoughts were clear and it all went out of my head. I felt like everything stopped right then. I was so thankful for that blessing that day. It was the best thing I could have done. I've so grateful to have that, the priesthood, in my family. I have seen so many miracles happen as we faithfully believe in its power. Not only in my family but even others around me. Even if they are not active members. I hope that this post will help uplift you somehow. My goal is to share more of the good things that matter in my life rather then where I went and what I did that day. I hope to have another post soon. Wish me luck!
