THE BIG DAY

Well it's now time to have these babies. I was so excited and nervous. I couldn't sleep very well and I kept waiting up throughout the night to see what time it was. We woke up at 5:00am and called the hospital. They told us to come on down. It was snowing outside and very cold. We put everything we needed in the car and woke up the kids to get in as well. We drove to my mom's house and dropped the kids off there. They fell alseep on the couch. My mom came with us. The roads were really bad but we followed behind 2 huge snowplows. It took us a little longer due to the weather. Once we got there, everything went by so quickly. They put my IV in and the baby monitors and Elias got his clothes on to go back to the operating room with me. My mom had to wait there for us since they would only allow 1 person with me. The doctor had me roll up in a tight ball and gave me a shot in my back to munb me. It was such a wierd feeling. It felt like when your body is asleep and when you touch it, it tingles. Elias was holding my hands and running his fingers through my hair to keep my calm. I was scared and felt so wierd. Like I was dreaming. It didn't seem real. I had really bad heartburn and kept coughing so the dr. gave me this liquid antiacid that tasted like orange juice that had been sitting in the sun for a few days. Then I heard Brittney's crying and tears of joy fell from my face. I couldn't see her until they got her all cleaned up. Elias went over to take a look at her. I felt so happy and then came Brooke and I heard her cry and more tears came out. I couldn't believe they were finally here for us to see. I asked him if I did a good job adn he said you did a wonderful job. They are perfect and beautiful. We actually didn't have Brittney's name until she was born. We knew that Brooke was going to be baby B and when we saw baby A, we decided that she looked like a Brittney. Later, we joked around saying we named them after Brooke Hogan and Brittney Spears. hahahaha...here are a few pictures and I have many more to come.

Elias turns 29!!! Happy Birthday

This year we had Elias's birthday party a week earlier since things where so crazy this month and I could delivery the twins anyday. We had Corina and Kory come up to our house on a Monday since she could come to the other party on Tueday. We had Elias open his presents and we took some pictures and we hung out for a while. Elias had to go up to bed because he was so tired for working earlier that day.

Church Breakfast

This weekend we took the kids to the church christmas breakfast. The food was great and the kids were able to see Santa. I'm not in any pictures because I didnt getoff my chair pretty much the whole time. I have a really bad sinus infection and justwanted to lay down...Which I did as soon as we got home. The kids had a great time and that's what is important to me. I love this picture of Kaleigh and Elias....
