Vacation day at Sugarhouse

Sugarhouse Park is our favorite park to go to as a family. It very special to us. This is where Elias asked me to marry him so it always brings back good memories. When we were dating, I asked him to roll down the hill with me but he said he would just walk because he had a huge box in his pocket and he was just waiting for the right moment. I was so surprised when I saw the ring. I had a perma smile for over a week. My mom knew something was up when she saw I couldnt stop smiling. She then noticed the ring and I told her I was getting married. She was so happy! The kids love to come to Sugarhouse Park in the winter for sleding and feeding the ducks and playing in the summer. Kaleigh loves going on the swing and walking over to the river and look at the water. Alex loves to play football with his Dad. We also come here just to lay on a blanket or fly a kite.

Classic Skating Center

Stop sweating so much Alex
Looks like fun huh????

He thinks he's so cute!
On his 4th pair of skates!!!

While I was on my vacation and Kaleigh was at school, the three of us decided to go skating at Classic Skaking Center. It was tons of fun. Elias had to change his skates about 5 times and finally got the best roller blades. We had so much fun. Alex loved it. They also have an area full of blow up toys and Alex and I wanted to race each other to see who could get to the top 1st and he kept pulling me down so he could get ahead and then I pulled him down too. We were laughing so hard. I was almost crying. It was nice being on vacation. We didn't have any plans to go anywhere. I just stayed home and we did stuff together everyday. Hopefullly, I can put up some more pictures and blogs. It's been really hard for me to keep up on this but I just need to do it.

Alex was very happy to be there
Talk about some long legs...whoa!!

Easter Sunday

This Easter Sunday was very different because my mom was out of town. We usually have a brunch with the whole family but instead we went to breakfast at Ihop. It was Elias, Corina, Paulina, Aaron, the kids, my friend Colleen and me. It was fun and yummy. I love breakfast! The kids loved looking for their baskets in the morning too. After breakfast we went to..yep...Sugarhouse Park and had an easter egg hunt. Kaleigh wasn't into it too much because she saw and ant on one of the eggs and that was it for her. After the easter egg hunt we just stayed and relaxed at the park and let the kids play for a while. Here are some pictures.
